The Vyatta 514 is ideally suited to connecting small and branch offices to the Internet or private networks. With integrated routing, firewall, and VPN features, and support for WAN hardware interfaces from ADSL to T1 speeds, the Vyatta 514 can be used as a component of a world-wide network and at the same time provide unmatched data security to ensure your corporate data stays private. The Vyatta 514 integrates Vyatta’s award-winning open-source secure routing software with a highly integrated, small form-factor hardware platform. With a small footprint and virtually noiseless operation, the Vyatta 514 is perfect for small office environments without a dedicated server or telecom room. The Vyatta 514 appliance includes four onboard 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports. A PCI-32 expansion slot supports most commonly used network interfaces, including10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet, ADSL, T1/E1. With the pre-installed Vyatta software, the Vyatta 514 includes industry standard routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) and integrated security features (stateful firewall, NAT, IPSec VPN) as well as VoIP QoS, high availability, WAN load balancing and more. All of these features are configurable via command-line interface (CLI) or web-based graphical user interface (GUI). These integrated features and functionality make Vyatta 514 appliances ideal for SME, Branch Office, Enterprise and Service Provider deployments ranging from the SME LAN / WAN installations to multi-T1 edge routing.
